Friday Photo: Towards Victoria Square

This week’s Friday photo looks towards Victoria Square in the city centre. Taken a month or so ago, it shows the ongoing building work in the area and a side view of the grade I listed town hall which was designed by Architects Joseph Hansom & Edward Welch and opened in 1834. The same view probably looks a little different today, and again will look different as we move into 2020; so much is changing in the city all the time, blending the old with the new.
