Bishop VeseyI posted about Vesey Manor last year, and this week I’m focusing on Vesey House, also in Sutton Coldfield, and also built by Bishop Vesey. Now a private residence, it dates from the 1500s and was once known as Ford Keepers Cottage. Today, it’s now a Grade-II listed building and is situated in the heart of Newhall Valley on Wylde Green Road. Having gone to school literally next door to the buidling, I have always been intrigued by this house and the its connections to Bishop Vesey. If you happen to pass it, you can’t miss its beautiful brick facade.
