Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) is a Mexican holiday for remembering and honouring those who have died. It is a festive, joyous time of celebration. It falls on November 1 and 2 of each year, coinciding with the Catholic holidays All Saints‘ Day and All Souls’ Day.
