This weeks the Friday photo features the beautiful Argent Centre formerly known as the Albert Works. The building sits proudly on the corner of Legge Lane and Fredrick Street in the Jewellery Quarter and contains a number of workshops. It is grade II listed and was designed by J.G. Bland for W.E Wiley a gold pen manufacture.

The Argent Centre also hosts The Pen Museum one of Birmingham’s hidden gems. The Midlands Industrial Association are the operators of the building.
