We are delighted that our Volunteer and Operations Manager for the Coffin Works, Marie Dufaud, has started with us at BCT.
Marie will be leading on the set up of the Coffin Works; getting us ready for renting out units to tenants as well as setting up all operational aspects of Newman Brothers, the heritage attraction, due to be opened in September. Lots to do!!
In her previous post Marie was Operations Manager at Hall’s Croft, one of The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust properties, and she brings with her the skills and enthusiasm to ensure we create a sustainable, income-generating attraction, with a ‘World Class ‘ visitor experience. Marie will be recruiting, training and looking after our volunteers, so if you are interested in volunteering for Newman Brothers when we are open, please email Marie on firstname.lastname@example.org
Day Two and I know that Marie is itching to get started. We don’t get the factory back from contractors until early July, so we need to be ready to go when the keys are handed over!
We are obviously very pleased to have Marie on the team. Here is what Marie says…
“I am delighted to become part of the team working on the Coffin Works Project and to be given the fantastic opportunity to contribute to bringing Newman Brothers to life. I look forward to developing a unique visitor experience on site, inspiring people to discover more about Birmingham Conservation Trust and explore the city’s heritage.”
