bradford street imageOur Friday Photo volunteer Tracey led a very enjoyable photo walk through Birmingham’s Eastside for our Supporters Group in November. She’s back with more opportunities to explore this part of our great city! Please see details below.

Come along to join us for a photowalk through Birmingham’s Eastside. Along the way we will soak up some of the areas rich industrial heritage with plenty of architecture and street photograph available. There is no shortage of derelict and abandoned sites along the walk to look at, with the odd Victorian toilet thrown in for good measure.

The walk also takes a quite route along part of the Fazeley Canal which is a real contrast from the busy streets around Eastside.
Street art fans have your cameras ready as we will be walking past some of the best street art in Birmingham this offers a chance to capture these changing street scenes.

Flat shoes are a must and bring either a camera or smart phone.
The walk takes approximately 3 ½ hours and we will stop half-way and have a break in the old Woodman Pub (just opened) by Millennium Point or there is a café nearby selling hot drinks.
