Architects Accredited in Building Conservation Autumn Conference

640x360.fitandcropBirmingham Town Hall is the case study at this year’s AABC conference and AGM – so architects from across the UK will be heading to our brilliant city to see conservation in action. if you are interested; here are some details:

Following two previous well received annual conferences the AABC is holding a third annual autumn conference and AGM at The Old Library, The Custard Factory in Birmingham on Thursday, 10th October 2013.

The theme this year is ACCREDITATION AND REGULATION and we are collaborating with our colleagues who have extensive experience in the contracting conservation world of local government – with authoritative and provocative insights from oracles of the  Institute of Historic Building Conservation: Bob Kindred is giving the keynote address “Wither Public Sector Conservation? Shrinkage and Development Management”, Rob Cowan on “Heritage Plandemonium” and David McDonald “Educating Starchitects- Rogers/Chipperfield etc -25 years in the front line.”
