The office at J W Evans – ours is slightly tidier!

Since we launched our volunteering programme almost 12 months ago we have recruited over 50 volunteers to work with us.

It is without a doubt due to our wonderful volunteers that we can achieve so much and develop new areas of work. When we open The Coffin Works next year we will be looking for even more volunteers to help us run the attraction on a daily basis.

Right not, we are looking for a volunteer to provide some administrative support to our growing volunteering programme. This will include the introduction and implementation of a new monitoring system to record volunteer hours (which we need for our Heritage Lottery Fund evaluation).

Is this for you?

The role would suit a very organised person who is computer and email literate and with some previous experience of Excel spreadsheets.

Depending on the availability and wishes of the volunteer we recruit; this could be an intensive work placement or volunteering activity over a couple of weeks to get us into shape, or a regular 10-12 hours per week. We are flexible and happy to negotiate!  In return for your time and support, we offer ‘out of pocket’ travel expenses, references if required, opportunities to be social with other volunteers and our thanks. Here is a Role Description Admin Support – Volunteering Programme.
