Award winning building preservation trust seeks dynamic new leader

Birmingham Conservation Trust, which delivered the award winning Birmingham Back to Backs project, is seeking a dynamic new leader.

 

The Trust is at an exciting period of development with Newman Brothers Coffin Fittings Works project due to commence on site next year, a new volunteer programme in place and with new Trustees on the board to help support the move to the Coffin Fitting Works.

 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager with a love of heritage and a good business head. They should have experience of leading organisational change and a successful track record of generating income, whether through enterprise or fundraising.  They are likely to have a background in managing heritage projects, especially historic building projects, but will need to be equally happy overseeing staff, volunteers and events. Good communication skills will be essential, as will a commitment to partnership working and access for all.

 

Full time post (37.5 hours) for 3 years, based in Birmingham. Salary £30,000
