  • BBC News – National Lottery to give more cash for arts and sport – Sport, the arts and heritage are to get more National Lottery funding, under plans announced by new Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt.
  • About the Conference | Transfer of Heritage Assets – "With cutbacks in resources and pressures to use property more effectively many local authorities are considering how best to deal with their heritage assets. Ranging from old town halls and schools to cemeteries and local landmarks, such buildings generate huge concern and bad publicity if they are allowed to go to waste. Yet coming up with viable new uses, and the resources to manage them properly can be very difficult, particularly in the current and foreseeable climate." <br />
