Planning Heritage Open Days & on the scrounge!

Posted June 26th, 2012 by Suzanne Carter with No Comments

We are busy planning this year’s Heritage Open Days event at the Coffin Fitting Works. Not only are we offering people the opportunity for guided tours around the site, but this year there will be family activities, live music and performance! We are delighted that Tin Box Theatre are collaborating with the Trust on this year’s event and Jackie and Kris, our wonderful volunteers, are in charge of arts & crafts, a dressing up corner, and handling collections. All very exciting!

We are looking to borrow some pop up gazebos to go in the Courtyard – they need to be the extendible frame types that you can weight down rather than peg – does anyone have one they could loan us? Does anyone know of anyone who could loan one?

We are also looking to borrow some trestle tables and a few chairs – anyone?

We need them from Friday 7th September until Monday 10th.

Please do get in touch if you are able to help us – and circulate this blog post to widen our search.

Many thanks!
