Click here to see a wonderful set of photographs taken by Katchooo of her visit to the Edwardian Fete at the newly reopened Winterbourne House. She described it as “a lovely, memorable family day out.”

If you fancy going it is still on today.  Details from the Winterbourne House website tell us:

From Saturday, 22 May 2010
To Sunday, 23 May 2010
Times: 10am-5pm
Cost: Adults £6, Concessions £4. Small charges also apply for some activities.

Take a step back in time and see what life was like during Edwardian times. Play old fashioned games, try to knock a coconut off its stand, watch Punch and Judy or have your photo taken in period costume during this traditional Edwardian day out.

Learn about traditional arts and crafts from jewellery making to pottery, there is something for everyone to try out.

If you do go along please let us know what you made of it in the comments below.
